St. Joseph College, Ruchi Khand Branch, celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri with great devotion and patriotic fervor. The assembly began with melodious bhajans “Vaishnav Jan To” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, creating an atmosphere of peace and reverence.

Students shared inspiring speeches and facts about the lives of Gandhiji and Shastriji, reminding everyone of their simplicity, courage, and dedication to the nation. A quiz based on these facts kept the audience engaged, while a skit on the historic Dandi March beautifully conveyed the values of truth and non-violence.

The celebration concluded with students taking a solemn oath to uphold honesty, loyalty, and service to the nation. The day not only paid tribute to two great leaders but also inspired young minds to carry forward their timeless ideals in everyday life.
